EASTER EGG RUN

Sean and I nearly didn’t make the egg run this year. Not because we had forgotten to alter our clocks but because we couldn’t gain access to the storage compound where we keep our bikes. Eventually we did manage to wake the owner and made it to the Royal Oak with a couple of minutes to spare. Sean, Chris and I set off at 9.00 and were soon joined by Paul & Laura en route to The Forest. There we met up with Tony, Jan and Brian and hundreds of other bikers.

The mass run departed at 10.00

to Mansfield Fire Station where

our eggs were collected and we

enjoyed tea and biscuits. Paul

didn’t stay for the raffle to be

drawn so left his tickets with us

and one of his numbers was the

first one drawn, winning him a

£50 Hein Gericke voucher.

The 30th Nottinghamshire Egg

Run was very well attended

and the weather kept fine.
