WINTER WALKS

Two Derbyshire walks have taken place to date. The first one, on 24th January, attracted 8 walkers on the 5.5 mile hike from Baslow through Pilsley, Edensor and the Chatsworth Estate. Chairman Paul joined us at the pub afterwards for Sunday lunch.

On 7th February, 11 walkers completed the 8 mile walk from Curbar Gap car park, along Curbar and Froggatt Edge to Grindleford Station Cafe, where we stopped for tea and breakfast cobs before heading back along a different route. Thanks to Tony & Janice for organising both walks and well done to Laura for completing the 8 mile walk, despite all the moaning!
